For Annie Sharp, getting dressed isn't just part of the day, but it's one of her favorite forms of self expression. Based in Los Angeles with Southern roots that continue to inspire her style, Annie has never been one to shy away from color, statement pieces, or an outfit that turns heads. Her philosophy is simple...fashion should be fun, confidence should come first, and there are no rules when it comes to personal style.

Whether she's pairing strappy heels with a feminine dress for brunch in Beverly Hills or reaching for bold pieces that spark conversation, Annie believes the best outfits are the ones that make you feel like the most authentic version of yourself. Equal parts playful, polished, and unapologetically girly, her wardrobe is a reflection of her personality, which is vibrant, fearless, and full of joy.

Today Annie shares the fashion rules she's left behind, the styling tricks she swears by, and why she'll always believe that getting dressed should feel just as exciting as playing dress up.

1.) How would you describe your personal style in three words?

Girly, trendy, and anything pink!

2.) What inspires your wardrobe the most? Travel, fashion icons, your lifestyle, art, or something else?

I live for statement pieces and colorful basics...the crazier, the better. If an outfit makes someone stops someone in their tracks it's doing its job. I also grew up in Texas, so a little Southern flair naturally finds its way into almost everything I wear, and honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way.

3.) What's one fashion rule you've completely stopped following?

All of them! The older I've gotten, the more I've realized fashion rules are made for people who care way too much about what everyone else thinks. Style is supposed to be fun. Wear the glitter to brunch, mix the prints, overdress for the grocery store. It's your outfit, make it yours. When did we stop playing dress up?

4.) Where would you personally wear your All In The Detail Candice dress and how would you personally style it?

I would wear it to a girls' brunch in Beverly Hills, or honestly just any excuse to feel extra cute. I'd style it with strappy heels, sunglasses, and a mini bag. I love feeling girly and put together. Changes the whole vibe of my day.

5.) What's your favorite styling trick that instantly elevates an outfit?

Throw on a pair of heels. It instantly makes any outfit feel more polished and put together. I've been slowly building my heel collection because they're the easiest way to feel feminine, confident, and just a little bit like that girl.

6.) What does your perfect Beverly Hills/California summer day look like?

A perfect Beverly Hills summer day starts with an iced matcha from La La Land... then another... and probably a third. Add a little shopping on someone else's unlimited credit card, lunch on a sunny patio, and then laying out by a pool in a pink bikini. I honestly can't imagine a better day.
